Postdoctoral Association

The Boston College Postdoctoral Association (SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯PDA) promotes the professional, social, and family well-being of postdoctoral fellows from all SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯ departments. The purpose of the SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯PDA is:

To promote the professional training and career preparation of its members

To promote peer interactions and support among the SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯ postdoctoral community

To serve as liaison between its members and the administration of SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯

To introduce new postdoctoral fellows to the SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯ community

To provide liaison between SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯ postdoctoral fellows and other postdoctoral associations in Massachusetts and in the United States

The SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯PDA regularly organizes conferences and talks on topics of interest to its membership. In addition, the SM¾­µäºÏ¼¯PDA has an ongoing Knowledge Dissemination Program to financially support the dissemination of its members’ original and independent scholarly work.
